I don’t think we could have ended up at a better place than Il Castello. What looked like our last option turned out to be the literal BEST! Everything was just perfect. The service was amazing, the food was delicious and the restaurant itself was very cozy. The pizza’s were made in a woodoven and despite the oven only baking one pizza at a time, we had our 4 pizzas after 15 minutes and they didn’t dissapoint. We chose to share 4 pizzas with 5 people and that was perfect. We had 2 leftover pieces and they wrapped those for us to take home. The servers were very friendly and happened to speak English besides French wich was a nice suprise when he started explaining about the menu and their ways of baking pizzas. Besides pizza there were a few other options to choose from like duck, salads and burgers. We tried 4 completely different pizzas and they were all perfect. Everything was VERY affordable We will definitly come back here and really recommend this place!! Just 10 minutes from camping Sunêlia!- Service

Man merkt, dass hier auf Qualität und Details geachtet wird, da nur mit einem Steinofen gekocht wird. Leckerste Pizza seit langem mit frischen Zutaten. Der Salat mit Burrata war auch ausgefallen und super lecker. Beim Dessert ging es genau so weiter. Alle Gerichte werden mit Feuer zubereitet. Der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Die Preise waren für diese Leistung günstig. Wir werden wieder kommen! Reservieren notwendig, da das Lokal nur eine kleine Terrasse mit ein paar Tischen hat.

Visiting this beautiful little village, we were looking for a restaurant and we relied on the internet reviews and frankly, the setting is great, the terrace is calm and intimate, the cuisine is surprising and succulent, the bull burger confit with guacamole, spices and bread cooked over a wood fire, the salad of young shoots, mortadella, seasonal vegetables on its bowl of pizza, a killer, what can I say about the service and the waiter at the top, I highly recommend it.

Superbe découverte pour nous, un serveur au top, sympathique et attentif. Les plats proposés sont tous cuit au feu de bois, les produits sont frais et artisanaux, on sent le fait maison. La pâte à pizza est aérée et savoureuse. Ça fait plaisir de pouvoir encore trouver un restaurant aussi authentique. Je recommande. Bravo à vous et bonne continuation.
